Lion Kausalya Padmanabhan, born 1st July, 1945, attained Acharya’s feet on 30th March, 2018, at CMC Hospital, Vellore. She was First Lady of Lions District 324A-1, and an active member of our club. Mr. G. Sankaran, formerly a teacher in Neyveli Lignite Corporation schools, retired headmaster of A.G. Jain Higher Secondary School, Chennai, passed away peacefully at his home in the early hours of Thursday, November 9, 2017, just days before his 87th birthday. Prior to moving to Bangalore in 2001, Mr. Sankaran lived in Teynampet and Chromepet / Chitlapakkam in Chennai, Neyveli, and Kunnam in Tanjore District. Happy and healthy until the moment he passed away of a cardiac arrest, Mr. Sankaran is survived by his wife Sulochana, his children Gopalan, Janaki, and Srinivasan, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, and six grand children who gave him a lot of joy. May his soul rest in peace!
